If you take the grams of protein and multiply it by 4 calories, take the grams of build muscle carbs and multiply it by 4 calories and the grams of fat and multiply it by 9 calories, you actually get close to the number of calories listed on the package for things. If it’s off build muscle a little that is probably because the numbers aren’t exact. But generally it’s accurate. This was quite mind-blowing when I build muscle first learned it. At least for Fat and Carbs, there are many subgroups within the main group and it is good to know them too.
